(November 14, 2024) – NovApproach Spine, developer of the patented OneLIF™ interbody spinal fusion system which supports a multitude of surgical approaches, announced today its co-sponsorship of the premier International Bioskills lab on Spine Surgery and Innovations, a medical education program for orthopaedic, neurosurgery and spinal access surgeons. The two-day event will take place in Orlando, Fla., on November 15 and 16, 2024.
The program will include didactic, surgical skills and cadaveric labs designed to give surgeons hands-on experience with the latest technologies in spinal surgery. Highlights of the itinerary include:
- Surgical technique pearls and exploration of the multiple approach options for performing anterior lumbar surgery using the OneLIF interbody fusion cage.
- Bioskills labs at the state-of-the-art Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute Surgical Training and Education Center.
- A presentation and tour by Robert Hirschl, MD, president, chief and chairman of neurosurgery for the new Orlando Health Neuroscience Institute.
Attendees registered for the event include orthopaedic surgeons, neurosurgeons and spinal access surgeons from the United States, Argentina, Brazil, Costa Rica, India and Panama.
